Senior Finished Goods Inventory Planner & Controller

Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Finished Goods Inventory Planner & Controller for one of our clients in Ludvika. In this role, you will plan and control finished goods inventory across sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand. You will analyze inventory levels, production forecasts, and lead-times, maintain system inputs, coordinate with traffic, production planning, and warehouse teams, and ensure timely order release and compliance with standards. You will act as the central planning information hub for material set projects, monitor progress, manage deviations, and proactively follow up with internal functions to support detailed planners. This position requires strong independence, ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-demand team environment.
What You’ll Do
Maintain an up-to-date overall picture of finished goods and material set plans
Analyze inventory levels, positioning, production forecasts, and demand
Develop and maintain inputs to inventory systems (network changes, lead-times, costs, promotions, new products)
Coordinate with traffic, production, and warehouse teams for routing, scheduling, and storage
Proactively monitor material set project progress and follow up on status/timeframes
Act as central contact for planning-related issues and deviations
Collect, consolidate, and distribute status information to detailed planners
Communicate delays/consequences and support resolution
Ensure timely order release and fulfillment of standards/policies
Who You Are
5–6 years of experience in production planning, supply coordination, inventory control, or similar roles
Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written – mandatory)
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High self-drive, ownership, and proactive problem-solving mindset
Detail-oriented, structured, and efficient
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
