Chargeman BO 11kv
Join as Chargeman BO 11kV and safeguard our plant electricals — lead preventive maintenance, OSH compliance, and energy savings in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out safety precautions and preventive maintenance for all electrical installations, including LV distribution and 11kV systems.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of facilities and utilities such as electricity supply, HVAC, compressed air, chiller, boiler, and firefighting electrical systems.
Conduct daily inspections of switchboards, generator sets, feeder pillars, circuit breakers, and related equipment, and record findings in the Chargeman logbook.
Plan, coordinate, and execute facility and electrical maintenance activities.
Implement and maintain a total preventive maintenance system to meet operational and quality requirements.
Ensure all machinery and utilities electrical supplies are safe and compliant with regulations.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, particularly in electricity usage.
Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to facility engineering.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and environmental requirements.
Oversee repair and maintenance works for buildings and facilities across the factory premises.
Manage annual Chargeman license renewal in accordance with Energy Commission requirements.
Liaise with utility providers (e.g. TNB) and ensure compliance with government and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements
Valid Chargeman BO (High Voltage) Certificate issued by the Energy Commission.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Chargeman in a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
Strong knowledge of electrical and basic mechanical engineering works.
Good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle operational challenges.
