LINE LEADER (PRODUCTION)
Hands-on Production Line Leader role in Port Klang. Lead operators, ensure safety, quality, and daily targets. Grow through a structured, shift-based environment.
WE ARE HIRING: LINE LEADER (PRODUCTION)
Location: Port Klang, Selangor
Department: Production
Salary: RM2,300.00 + Allowances
Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night) – 7AM–7PM / 7PM–7AM
Working Days: 6 Days per Week
We are seeking a hands-on and assertive Line Leader (Production) to oversee daily production line activities, manage operators, and ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved in a structured manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with production leadership experience who are confident handling shift operations and troubleshooting basic production issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Male candidate
18 years old and above
SPM or Diploma in Manufacturing / Engineering
1–2 years working experience in production / manufacturing environment
Able to work rotating shifts (Day & Night)
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Basic understanding of production flow
Experience operating production line
Plastic blowing / injection experience (added advantage)
Basic troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of safety practices and SOP compliance
Familiar with quality control standards
Experience handling shift manpower
Key Responsibilities
Production Monitoring
Conduct daily production briefings
Review stock availability and rejection issues
Monitor bottle rejection trends and implement corrective action
Ensure production output meets daily targets
Operator Coordination
Arrange manpower for shift operations
Ensure operators are equipped with proper PPE (hairnets, gloves)
Monitor attendance and discipline
Perform line checks every 1–2 hours
Quality & Training
Train operators on bottle quality appearance standards
Minimise rejection rate through coaching
Handle customer rejection and returns
Ensure compliance with QC requirements before mass production
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate physical and digital production records
Record product name, weight, batch number, material, etc.
Update MES system
Monitor SONOCO machine output
Report machine issues to foreman
Mould Setup & Readiness
Perform mould up/down procedures
Adjust colour and material settings
Verify setup parameters before production
Ensure QC approval before mass production
5S & Safety Compliance
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assign daily cleaning tasks (production & canteen areas)
Conduct bottle and pallet inspections
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
