Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist for one of our clients in Ludvika. In this senior role, you will streamline factory supply chain operations, define and implement local sourcing strategies, develop and maintain the supply base, conduct supplier evaluations, qualify new suppliers, negotiate agreements, and drive cost, quality, delivery, and efficiency improvements. You will collaborate closely with category teams, quality specialists, and internal stakeholders to align with regional goals and business directives. This position requires strong sourcing expertise, ownership, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Support Factory Supply Chain Manager with daily operations and workload relief
Define and implement local sourcing strategies aligned with regional objectives
Develop and maintain supply base focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency
Conduct supplier evaluations, drive improvement projects, and qualify new suppliers
Establish and update agreements with major suppliers (pricing, terms, conditions)
Collaborate with category teams and quality specialists for supplier alignment
Monitor market dynamics, supplier performance, and risk mitigation
Ensure compliance with company policies and business directives
Who You Are
Several years of experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing, with a degree in Engineering preferred
Proven track record in supplier management, negotiations, and sourcing strategies
Strong communication, networking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ownership mindset with ability to solve complex challenges independently
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and ERP systems like SAP
Fluent in Swedish and English (both spoken and written – mandatory)
Experience with electrical components or manufacturing sourcing
Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean methodologies
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
