About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on "Accounting Lead" for on of our client's in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to join their finance team. This critical role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, complex reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. You will work directly with the CEO, CFO, global board members, and industry experts in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do?
Financial Operations & Management
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure the absolute accuracy of all financial records.
Supervise payroll processing, partner commissions, and incentive accounting.
Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial data and processes.
Data & Systems Reconciliation
Manage and reconcile data flow between cloud-based ERP systems and accounting platforms.
Lead monthly and quarterly reconciliations across a complex network of insurers, reinsurers, distribution partners, and asset managers.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure full regulatory compliance with the Insurance Authority, ZATCA, and other relevant statutory bodies in KSA.
Liaise with external auditors to ensure the timely and successful completion of statutory audits.
Support the CFO in the preparation of management accounts, board presentations, and performance reports.
Who You Are?
Education & Certification (Mandatory)
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAP): Only certified members will be eligible. Finalists or part-qualified candidates will not be considered.
Experience
Seniority: Minimum of 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
Audit Background: Prior audit experience with a Big Four firm (Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, or EY) is highly preferred.
Industry Exposure: Experience beyond audit, specifically within the insurance or financial services sectors, is an advantage.
Logistics
Must be based in (or willing to relocate permanently to) Riyadh, KSA.
Must have a transferable Iqama or be eligible for immediate relocation.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep understanding of KSA regulatory frameworks (ZATCA, Insurance Authority).
Proficiency in cloud-based ERP systems and modern accounting software.
Excellent communication skills for board-level reporting and multicultural team collaboration.
A proactive, "hands-on" approach suitable for a growing startup environment.
