Assignment Description
We are seeking a Senior Planner to support project execution and ensure predictable delivery across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You will work inside a large capital project setting where planning quality, forecasting accuracy, and proactive follow-up directly influence project performance.
This role suits someone who thrives in structured environments, collaborates well with engineering teams, and enjoys turning ambiguity into schedules that actually make sense.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules
Provide planning scenarios and forecast updates to project leadership
Identify deviations, risks, and opportunities related to plan and progress
Support change handling and assess planning impact of technical decisions
Facilitate planning sessions with engineering, procurement, and construction
Produce timeline reports, look-aheads, and decision-support materials
Ensure schedule alignment with project execution model and governance
Requirements
Must Have
Solid experience with project planning in large or technical projects
Strong skills with industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
Ability to interpret engineering inputs and translate them into structured plans
Experience with progress measurement and forecasting
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams
CV must be submitted in English
Good to Have
Experience in energy, engineering, or project-driven industries
Familiarity with risk methodology and change management
Knowledge of Norwegian project environments
