Senior Planner
Permanent planning role in Stavanger. Own the schedule, drive the critical path, and keep complex projects on track.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join a permanent position in Stavanger, supporting project execution across a dynamic modifications and maintenance (M&M) environment. You will play a central role in ensuring predictable delivery by maintaining schedule integrity, tracking critical paths, and driving proactive follow-up with contractors and senior stakeholders.
This role suits someone who works independently, thrives in a structured M&M setting, and knows how to keep plans realistic and milestones on track — even when conditions change.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain project schedules in line with business case strategies, both for early phase and execution
Actively follow up on project plans, milestones, and critical paths
Ensure consistency between contractors' schedules and the overall project plan
Identify deviations, risks, and schedule recovery opportunities proactively
Contribute to planning basis set-up, development, and updates
Provide trend analysis and float/critical path development
Develop proposals for schedule recovery and maintenance of key milestones
Maintain clear communication and interfaces with senior managers, contractors, and key stakeholders
Requirements
Must Have
Minimum 3 years of relevant project planning experience
Hands-on experience with Safran as a planning tool
Background in modifications and maintenance (M&M) projects
Fluent in both Norwegian and English
Based in or around Rogaland
Strong cooperation skills and a proactive, independent working style
CV must be submitted in English
Good to Have
Experience in the energy or oil & gas industry
Familiarity with risk methodology and change management
Experience working in Norwegian project environments
