About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bergen. This role involves technical leadership and end-to-end responsibility for delivering electrical solutions across onshore and offshore projects. You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for the offshore industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute electrical deliveries for onshore and offshore projects.
Prepare technical documentation and design input for switchboards, drives, UPS systems, and low/high-voltage protection systems.
Participate in all phases of projects, including feasibility studies, proposals, engineering, execution, testing, commissioning, and after-sales service.
Ensure all work is delivered in compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and applicable regulations.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Travel as required to project sites, both domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Power Engineering.
Trade certificate (Group L/H) is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably within industrial or offshore environments.
Strong knowledge of hazardous area (Ex) requirements and standards such as NORSOK and IEC.
Basic offshore safety certification is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and verbal).
Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to take ownership of technical delivery in the field.
Results-oriented with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, and safe execution.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
