Role Overview
We are hiring an Associate Mechanical Engineer – Components & Products for one of our clients in Piteå. This is a junior-level opportunity ideal for newly graduated engineers or candidates with limited professional experience. In this role, you will support mechanical engineering activities related to the planning, design, and modification of machinery, equipment, and products. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist with technical analysis, documentation, and coordination with other engineering teams to help deliver engineering solutions. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established engineering principles and practices.
What You’ll Do
Assist in planning, designing, and modifying mechanical components and products
Support engineering analysis and prepare technical reports
Use computer-based engineering tools for calculations and documentation
Follow guidance from senior engineers and supervisors
Coordinate with internal teams to support engineering objectives
Apply standard engineering principles and practices in daily tasks
Contribute to product development and engineering improvements
Who You Are
0-2 years of work experience within the relevant field, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Economics, Logistics, or related field or another technical degree with less than 10 years of work experience within the relevant field.
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
Ability to work in a structured engineering environment
Fluent in spoken and written English
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Ability to work fully onsite in Piteå
