About the Role:
Are you a technically minded engineer with a passion for energy and automation systems?
We are seeking a highly experienced "Prosjektingeniør Hardware" for one of our client's to join their multidisciplinary project team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and commissioning Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) for the global offshore market. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured "hunter" of technical solutions who thrives in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
What You'll Do?
As a Project Hardware Engineer, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of offshore delivery projects, from initial design to final commissioning.
System Design & Engineering: Perform hardware design for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), ensuring robust and reliable configurations for process and utility systems.
Commissioning: Participate in the installation and commissioning of systems both in Norway and internationally (offshore/onshore).
Sales Support: Act as a technical advisor to the sales department, assisting with marketing materials, technical specifications, and the preparation of multimillion-dollar tenders.
Project Coordination: Work as a vital member of a project team, ensuring interdisciplinary cooperation and alignment with client requirements.
Who You Are?
We are looking for a candidate who combines practical craftsmanship with theoretical engineering knowledge.
Education & Experience:
Vocational Background: Craft certificate, preferably Group L (Electrician) or equivalent.
Higher Education: Bachelor’s degree or Technical College (Fagskole) within Automation, Cybernetics, or Electrical Power.
Industry Knowledge: A genuine interest in energy and automation systems.
Skills:
IT Literacy: Proficient in engineering software and general IT tools.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel as part of project commissioning phases.
Personal Qualities:
Proactive: You are initiative-driven and enjoy taking on complex technical challenges.
Structured: You work independently and maintain a high level of organization in your deliverables.
