Role Overview
We are seeking two Senior HSE Specialists with hands-on construction experience for one of our clients in Ludvika. In this expert role, you will develop HSE structures and routines for construction projects, establish procedures for interfaces between projects and operations, conduct quality checks/spot audits/safety inspections, prepare incident reports/statistics, ensure proper incident reporting, and perform safety inspections of shared site areas. The positions are 100% on-site and require immediate availability.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement HSE structures, routines, and procedures for construction projects
Establish clear HSE interfaces between projects and ongoing operations
Develop and manage HSE training plans and programs
Conduct spot audits, safety inspections, and internal reviews of safety coordinators (BAS-P/BAS-U)
Prepare reports and compile statistics on observations, near misses, and incidents
Support environmental compliance and stakeholder engagement where required
Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE requirements and regulations
Ensure incident reporting follows company procedures
Perform safety inspections of shared site areas
Identify trends and support preventive actions
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve HSE processes and compliance
Who You Are
Extensive experience in HSE within construction projects
Strong knowledge of relevant Swedish legislation and HSE standards
Proven ability to conduct audits, inspections, and incident reporting
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams
Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional environments
Fluent in Swedish and English (both spoken and written – mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Ability to start as soon as possible and work 100% on-site in Ludvika
