About the Role
We are currently looking for an Automation / Software Engineer to join our client’s team in Stavanger. This role focuses on the design, engineering, and implementation of automation solutions for both onshore and offshore facilities.
You will be involved in system design, programming, and commissioning, contributing to complex industrial and energy projects while working with advanced automation technologies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, engineer, and commission automation solutions
Develop and program control systems and software solutions
Work with system architecture, networks, and process understanding
Deliver automation solutions for onshore and offshore projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Experience with PCS7 and SAS systems
Knowledge of WinCC, S5, or S7
Understanding of Ex and SIL requirements
Experience with engineering tools such as Sigraph, Microstation, Eplan, or AutoCAD
Familiarity with Norsok and IEC standards
Offshore safety certification is an advantage
Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English
Willingness to travel as required
