Role Overview
We are hiring for a Senior Power Systems Engineer for one of our clients in Västerås. In this senior technical role, you will apply advanced knowledge to plan, organize, and control technical projects and processes. You will develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports, conduct risk analysis, monitor progress against milestones and budgets, and provide technical guidance to the project team while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Manage technical projects and processes with limited supervision
Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans
Conduct risk analysis and monitor project progress
Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables
Analyze and document requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
Coordinate vendor tasks and track deliverables when applicable
Coach and review the work of junior professionals
Who You Are
Must-Have Requirements
Strong technical background in Power Systems Engineering
Experience in planning, organizing, and controlling technical projects/processes
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate (preferred)
Ability to work primarily onsite in Västerås (up to 49% remote within Sweden possible)
Nice to Have
Leadership skills
Experience with SCADA systems and/or Energy Management Systems (EMS) for monitoring and control of power networks.
Strong written and verbal skills in Swedish (meritorious)
