Senior SAP R2R Consultant

About The Role
Join a high-impact SAP finance transformation initiative focused on optimizing Record-to-Report (R2R) operations across complex enterprise environments. As a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will drive end-to-end finance process improvements, streamline financial closing and reporting, and support scalable SAP solutions integrated across business functions. This role offers the opportunity to work on global delivery projects, modern SAP finance technologies, and business-critical transformation initiatives.
What You'll Do
Lead configuration and support of SAP FI/CO and R2R processes
Manage GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, closing, and financial reporting activities
Analyze and optimize R2R workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Customize and enhance R2R processes based on business and compliance requirements
Ensure integration between FI/CO and modules including MM, SD, PP, and PS
Support reconciliation, invoice processing, asset capitalization, and period-end activities
Troubleshoot operational, reporting, and closing-related issues
Deliver user training and functional guidance for finance processes
Prepare and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, and training documentation
Maintain documentation supporting audit traceability, testing, and project handover
Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and financial controls
Drive initiatives improving financial close efficiency and reporting capabilities
Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Finance, Fiori, and financial analytics improvement initiatives
Who You Are
Must Have
8–10 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO and R2R implementation/support experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
Strong expertise in financial closing, reporting, asset accounting, and R2R operations
Experience integrating FI/CO with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, or PS
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
Experience working in global, cross-functional delivery environments
Proven end-to-end SAP project delivery experience from blueprinting through post-go-live support
Good to Have
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Fiori, or advanced financial analytics
Industry experience within Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) or Manufacturing
Knowledge of audit processes, compliance requirements, and financial controls
SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
