About the Role
Sperton Sweden is seeking a driven and results-oriented Freelance Business Development Manager to support our growth by establishing and expanding direct client relationships across Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning Sperton as a trusted recruitment and talent solutions partner.
This is a freelance, commission-based opportunity ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong network and proven ability to generate new business within recruitment, staffing, consulting, or workforce solutions. The role offers significant earning potential for individuals who excel at client acquisition and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new clients across Sweden.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, department heads, and business decision-makers.
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and outbound sales activities.
Understand client hiring needs and present tailored recruitment and talent solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to ensure successful delivery and high levels of client satisfaction.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve agreed business development targets.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
Represent Sperton Sweden in client meetings, business events, and industry networking activities.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, recruitment sales, staffing solutions, or consulting services.
Proven track record of generating new business and acquiring direct clients.
Strong understanding of recruitment, staffing, consulting, or professional services industries.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and proactively drive business growth.
Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).
Established professional network within Sweden is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling recruitment, staffing, RPO, executive search, or consulting services.
Existing network within the Swedish business community.
Experience engaging with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and business leadership teams.
Demonstrated success in winning and managing client accounts.
Experience working as an independent consultant, freelancer, or business development contractor.
