Assignment Description
Are you an experienced Storage Administrator with expertise in enterprise storage technologies? This role offers the opportunity to work with complex storage environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across critical infrastructure services.
You will play a key role in managing storage operations, resolving technical issues, supporting disaster recovery initiatives, and driving continuous improvements across storage platforms. Working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams, you will contribute to the efficient delivery of storage services and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of storage failures and provide L3 support
• Handle escalations from incident management teams
• Coordinate problem analysis and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Plan, execute, and report on availability, performance, and capacity management activities
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution
• Perform change impact analysis and coordinate storage-related changes
• Resolve storage incidents and problems
• Manage storage patching and upgrade activities
• Plan and execute disaster recovery requirements and support project-level DR activities
• Troubleshoot storage hardware and provide technical support
• Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, audits, and reporting activities
• Lead technical operations, documentation reviews, and operational standardization initiatives
• Maintain and update knowledge management documentation
• Support the creation and implementation of SOPs, templates, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with security standards, operational guidelines, and quality requirements
• Conduct reviews of incidents and service requests to identify service improvement opportunities
Requirements
• 7–10 years of experience in Storage Administration
• Expert knowledge of NetApp Storage Administration
• Strong experience with Dell EMC storage platforms including PowerMax, PowerStore, and Unity
• Experience with Hitachi and IBM storage technologies
• Strong knowledge of SAN and NAS environments
• Experience with storage provisioning, volume management, LUN creation, mapping, and zoning
• Experience with snapshots, replication, disaster recovery, and storage migration activities
• Knowledge of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches
• Experience with performance, availability, and capacity management
• Experience troubleshooting storage hardware and infrastructure issues
• Knowledge of storage management tools and best practices
• Understanding of VMware, Windows, and Linux environments
• Good understanding of ITIL processes; ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with customers and stakeholders
• Fluent in English
