Key Responsibilities
Follow up design during early project phases to ensure equipment is suitable for testing and installation, including adequate ROV access.
Perform layout reviews and ensure effective subsea system integration across engineering disciplines.
Lead system testing activities and coordinate testing execution throughout the project.
Develop test programs and act as the test lead.
Ensure all required system testing equipment is specified and procured.
Develop stack-up test procedures, installation guidelines, and mobilisation procedures.
Perform ROV simulations and prepare ROV access reports.
Follow up on required tooling and installation equipment.
Ensure alignment between system design, installation philosophy, and operational execution.
Manage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers, and installation contractors.
Lead technical meetings with customers and installation contractor representatives.
Participate in and facilitate risk and safety reviews, including HARC.
Ensure delivery of engineering documentation covering layout, interfaces, procedures, and verification.
Provide senior technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, HSE requirements, and project-specific standards.
What We’re Looking For in You:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant subsea or offshore engineering experience.
Proven experience with subsea system testing, installation, or system integration.
Strong knowledge of subsea system design, layout, and installation principles.
Good understanding of system testing methodologies and integration practices.
Knowledge of ROV access, intervention, and installation methods.
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and practical engineering judgement.
Experience working with industry standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication skills in English.
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
Ability to develop practical and installable engineering solutions.
Ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
Experience with CREO, SAP, and Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage.
