QAQC Executive (Plastic Manufacturing)
Lead quality excellence in plastic manufacturing — drive ISO compliance, solve root causes and strengthen processes, products and teams through continuous improvement.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA/QC Executive to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Lead quality assurance activities to ensure products meet specifications, customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and supervise incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections and testing activities.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize product non-conformances and quality issues.
Ensure quality standards, procedures, manuals, and forms are maintained and updated.
Manufacturing Quality Management
Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing quality issues promptly.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of quality problems.
Follow up on NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), CARs (Corrective Action Requests), and Master Sample compliance.
ISO & Compliance Management
Assist in implementing and maintaining effective QA/QC programs and quality systems.
Ensure full compliance with ISO standards and company quality requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits and support audit activities.
Liaise with certification bodies and external parties on quality and ISO-related matters.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the key contact for customer quality-related concerns and requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product and process quality.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Conduct and lead Management Review Meetings.
Support quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and process enhancements.
Train and guide QA personnel to strengthen competency and knowledge in quality practices.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, preferably within the manufacturing or plastics industry.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience in implementing and maintaining QA/QC processes and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Experience conducting internal and external quality audits.
Knowledge of statistical quality tools such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and quality data analysis techniques.
Excellent documentation, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality management systems.
Leadership capabilities with the ability to guide teams and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Adaptable, ethical, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Working Hours
Day Shift
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Night Shift (1 week per month)
Monday to Friday: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Saturday: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM (QC Meeting)
