About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced "Senior Telecom Engineer" for one of our client's to join their Onshore project based in Bergen. In this role, you will perform all needed discipline engineering activities across global and detail design phases, handle follow-on and as-built tasks, and act as a deputy Discipline Lead within Telecom when required.
What You'll Do?
* Perform all needed activities related to the global design phase within Telecom as a discipline engineer.
* Perform all needed activities related to the detail design phase within Telecom as a discipline engineer.
* Create work packages within Telecom as a discipline engineer.
* Execute follow-on and as-built activities within Telecom.
* Act as deputy Discipline Lead within Telecom when needed.
Who You Are?
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience with broad knowledge of deliverables within Telecommunications for the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), as well as Equinor's technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
Technical Skills:
* Network design skills, including fiber optic and network cabling.
* Installation experience.
Education: Associate Degree, Vocational school, BSc, or MSc in a relevant field.
Certifications & Training Required:
* Ex basic & Exi basic training courses
* FSE (Faglig ansvarlig for elektriske anlegg / Safety standard for electrical work)
* Offshore training (GSK - Grunnleggende sikkerhetskurs)
* Software Skills: Project-specific (including ProCoSys and Stid).
* Personal Qualities: Accurate and organized, service-minded, ability to work independently, strong teamwork skills, ability to follow activity schedules, initiative-taking, flexibility, and the ability to motivate others.
