Employment: Local full-time employment
Working hours: 11:00 AM–19:00 PM PKT (Mon-Fri)
Reports to: Country Manager, Sperton Norway
Start: As soon as possible
About the Role
Sperton Norway is looking for a Finance & Operations Coordinator based in Pakistan to support our Norwegian operations on a daily basis. You will be the person who keeps financial and operational information accurate and up to date: consultant timesheets, invoicing basis, margins, overviews for management, and the routines behind all of it.
The role combines hands-on work in our systems with responsibility for improving how that work is done. You will handle recurring tasks, and at the same time document and standardise the routines they follow. As Sperton Norway grows, the role is expected to grow with it.
Please note that this role follows Norwegian working hours. Your working day will start at 11:00 - 19:00 PKT. Please only apply if this schedule works for you long term.
What You'll Do
Consultant timesheets and invoicing basis: check hours against agreements, verify markups, chase what is missing
A current, accurate overview of revenue, costs and outstanding items
The financial and operational reports the Country Manager makes decisions from
Daily work in PowerOffice Go, our cloud accounting system. The interface is Norwegian — training is provided and no Norwegian is required
Email dialogue with our consultants on hours, deadlines and documentation
The routines behind all of the above: document them, standardise them, improve them
What We’re Looking For
4+ years in finance, accounting or business administration, with a relevant degree
Experience with a cloud-based accounting or ERP system, and strong Excel skills
Excellent written English. You will use it every day with consultants and colleagues
Precision. The figures you handle go straight into invoices to our clients
Initiative. You follow up people until you get what you need
Availability 11:00–19:00 PKT on a permanent basis
Advantageous
Experience from a consultancy, staffing or professional services company
Experience with timesheet, project accounting or invoicing systems
