Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Engineer
Support manufacturing quality through laboratory testing, mechanical testing, and material analysis in a hands-on engineering environment.

About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Engineer to support laboratory testing and quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will perform laboratory testing, analyze results, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure that products meet required physical and chemical specifications. You will also participate in mechanical testing using industry-standard laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing for quality assurance
Carry out quantitative and qualitative analytical testing
Perform measurements, calculations, and material analysis
Analyze physical and chemical characteristics of materials
Operate standard and specialized laboratory equipment
Evaluate laboratory test results against specifications
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and test records
Perform mechanical testing, including tensile, hardness, bending, climate, and similar tests
Support continuous quality improvement activities
Requirements
Practical experience working in a laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or testing environment
Experience performing laboratory testing and quality assurance activities
Experience with mechanical testing is beneficial
Ability to analyze test results and maintain accurate documentation
Ability to work independently with general supervision
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Ability to work 100% on-site in Ludvika
Nice to Have
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
CAD knowledge
Workshop experience (turning, drilling, milling, welding)
Swedish language skills
