HSSEQ Manager
Lead HSSEQ across complex industrial projects, shaping strong safety and quality standards from engineering through commissioning while partnering with teams, suppliers and contractors.

Are you an experienced HSSEQ professional with a strong background in both HSE and Quality within complex industrial projects?
Sperton is looking for a Project HSSEQ Manager to lead and coordinate Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with project management, engineering teams, suppliers and contractors across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and project handover.
The position combines office-based work with some site visits.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain project-specific HSSEQ plans, procedures and management systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, standards and contractual requirements.
Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions.
Monitor and report HSSEQ performance and KPIs.
Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan and QA/QC requirements.
Follow up HSSEQ and Quality performance of suppliers, subcontractors and construction activities.
Review Quality Plans, ITPs, NCRs, inspection/test records and manufacturing documentation.
Coordinate supplier surveillance and third-party inspections where required.
Promote a strong safety and quality culture and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & experience
Must-have:
5+ years of relevant HSSEQ/HSE/Quality experience.
Practical experience with both HSE and Quality responsibilities.
Experience from complex industrial projects involving supplier fabrication and/or construction.
Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality Control and supplier surveillance.
Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Experience with risk management, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
Experience following up contractors and suppliers.
Good understanding of project management and project risk management.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Higher education is preferred; extensive relevant experience may compensate.
Experience with LEAN, start-up environments and third-party inspections is an advantage.
