Job Description
Are you a technically minded support professional who enjoys troubleshooting, automation and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Technical Support & DevOps Associate to provide reliable technical support while contributing to the development, deployment and operation of modern IT environments.
You will act as a key point of contact for technical issues, investigate incidents, maintain systems and support DevOps processes across development and production environments. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, security and business teams to ensure stable, secure and efficient services.
Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-line technical support to users, customers and internal teams.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and application-related incidents.
Monitor system performance, availability, logs and alerts across IT environments.
Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
Assist with CI/CD pipelines, release management and automated deployment processes.
Maintain scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, endpoint configurations and technical documentation.
Record, prioritise and follow up incidents, service requests and problems in the relevant ticketing system.
Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Support backup, recovery, patching, security and vulnerability management activities.
Contribute to service improvements, operational procedures and knowledge base documentation.
Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support activities where required.
Requirements
Relevant degree, vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience in IT, computer science, systems administration or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in technical support, systems administration, DevOps or IT operations.
Practical experience with troubleshooting operating systems, applications, networks and cloud-based services.
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows environments.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts, version control and software deployment processes.
Basic scripting experience using tools such as PowerShell, Bash or Python.
Experience with monitoring, ticketing and documentation tools.
Understanding of IT service management, incident management and change management practices.
Awareness of information security, access management and data protection principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organised, service-minded and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good spoken and written English.
