Role:
To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Service Departments. To develop methods for guidance, control and suitable action to ensure a safe operable and economic design within the framework of the project’s budget, material requirements, specifications and schedule. To maintain the customer relations standards and improve Sales & Service business of the Company. Target fixation & achievement as per Business goal of the Company. Drive, Guide, Train & motivate the Team to achieve their domain & overall Company goals.
Educational Qualification: BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering. MBA preferable.
Experience: Min. 8-15 years’ experience in similar Sales & Service leader profiles in Mechanical Engineering field preferably with Cranes, Aluminum industries or Port Heavy material handling businesses. Capable to manage a Team of Min. 10-20 heads under him.
Skill set: Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, E-mail & written, oral communication. Good negotiation skills.
Added advantage: Past experience in Material handling equipment Companies, Ports & Cranes.
Responsibilities & duties:
- Analyze, review and interpret Project Blueprints.
- Create Projections & Budget analysis of business & review time-to-time.
- Add more new customers and improve sales & service turn-over of the Company.
- Coordinate and monitor Engineering Projects for timely material at Site, Execution & Billing.
- Maximize Project efficiency and profitability.
- Facilitate supply, construction and installation of machine components.
- Delegate tasks to various Project leaders, Sales & Service Managers, Works, Production & Operations Team.
- Provide Technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular project execution.
- Interaction with the Client / Parties and the Project Implementation Manager.
- Coordination with the Logistics team for the timely material availability at site.
- Coordinate for Testing / QC of the material before getting dispatched.
- To ensure with Clients for clearance of Project drawings.
- Purchase approvals to Commercial department for material procurement.
- To liaise with Clients and coordinate with designers and other engineers.
- Ensure Project is complete on time and within Budget and collection on-time.
- Ensure all Clients are satisfied with our timely deliveries/implementation of projects.
- Increase the Sales order bookings & collections.
- Increase the Service excellence on all Projects handled.
- Increase Service Revenue of the Company.
- Ensure to achieve all Business Growth Milestones of the Company.
- Work on retention of the employees in close coordination with HR & Administration Dept.
- Work on the Career growth of each employee of the Company.
- Setting-up of proper KPIs for each functionality & its monitoring and rewards.
- Streamlining the Complete Business Operations to its maximum quality & excellence.
- Maximum customer satisfaction & customer retentions.
- Coordination with HR, Marketing, Projects, Sales & Service, Operations, Accounts & Finance Team.
- Coordination with Bankers & internal Finance Team for Fund management.
- Close coordination with the Managing Director for Business excellence and growth of the Company.
