Production Support (L3), Core Banking
Role Overview
The Production Support (L3) position in our Core Banking team involves ensuring the stability and reliability of our core banking systems. The role requires an individual with strong technical skills who can perform critical analysis and troubleshooting, driving enhancements in our banking solutions environment.
Key Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Incident Management
Continuously monitor core banking applications to ensure optimal system performance and uptime. Respond promptly to system alerts and incidents, applying expert technical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement resilient solutions.
Technical Analysis and Problem Resolution
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues that affect the banking systems. Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure root cause analysis is performed and preventative measures are in place.
Enhancements and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to apply continuous improvement methodologies to increase system effectiveness. Implement improvements based on incident trends and performance analysis, enhancing system stability and user experience.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
Engage with key stakeholders, including functional and technical teams, to communicate incident status and impacts effectively. Support collaboration between cross-functional teams to achieve business continuity and efficiency in services.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A solid background in IT operation, with at least 5 years of experience in production support or a similar role within the banking sector.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Proficient knowledge of core banking systems, with experience handling enterprise-level applications. Understanding of relevant technologies including SQL, Unix
