Corporate Real Estate Project Manager

We are supporting a top-tier client in the energy and manufacturing sector in their search for a Corporate Real Estate Project Manager – CAPEX to join their team in Jefferson City, Missouri. This newly created role is a result of major investment and expansion across the U.S. and will play a key part in the delivery of high-impact, capital-intensive projects at key manufacturing sites.
This individual will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale corporate real estate and facilities projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
CAPEX Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex corporate real estate development and improvement projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align with project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage contracts, schedules, and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor site activities, address construction challenges, and ensure strict compliance with safety, building codes, and quality standards.
- Oversee cost control, invoice tracking, risk mitigation, and project closeout documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery outcomes.
Facilities Operations (Support Role):
- Assist in facility operations and planning, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and system maintenance.
- Oversee facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical; help ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with HSE teams to implement and support safety initiatives and sustainability practices.
- Support transition from project delivery to day-to-day operational oversight.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in corporate real estate, construction, or facilities management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience leading large CAPEX projects in real estate or infrastructure.
- Familiarity with building systems, HSE regulations, and risk management practices.
- Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CFM are highly valued.
