🔹 About the Role
The Vehicle Optimized Service Planning (VOSP) team is excited to welcome a skilled Senior Software Engineer to support our digital transformation journey. 🚀
VOSP is a smart service scheduling system that creates tailored maintenance plans for individual vehicles based on their specs and usage. 🛠️🚗 Our goal? Maximize vehicle uptime and optimize workshop efficiency.
We're in the middle of a major modernization, moving from a monolith to a microservices architecture. You'll help rewrite key features and streamline business logic for better performance and scalability. 🔄💡
✔️ Your Responsibilities
💻 Design and develop scalable microservices.
🔄 Refactor legacy features into modern architecture.
🌐 Contribute to front-end development with React.
🧪 Ensure quality code with JUnit and automated testing.
🐳 Work with Docker to build and deploy containerized applications.
🗄️ Manage database interactions using Hibernate and SQL.
🔐 Support DevSecOps practices and cloud integration.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
✅ Must-Have Skills:
👨💻 7+ years of experience with Java 8+.
🎨 Proficiency in React and front-end development.
🧪 Solid understanding of unit testing and test automation.
🌱 Deep knowledge of Spring MVC and microservices.
🗃️ Experience with relational databases, ORM (Hibernate, SQL).
🐳 Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
💡 Nice-to-Have:
☁️ Experience with Azure Cloud, JBOSS, and DevSecOps.
🎛️ Knowledge of other front-end tools like Backbone and Marionette.
