Are you someone with a love for excitement and adventure? Our project department in Oslo is looking for an experienced installation manager who can take our projects to new heights! We design and deliver electrical supply systems to the industry and energy market, and we need you to follow the projects from start-up to commissioning.
About the position:
As our new Installation Manager, you will play a key role in project implementation. You will be the one who keeps track of everything from substations to offshore wind. Your workplace is in either Oslo, Bergen or Trondheim, but don't forget that the whole of Norway is at your feet. Here, your task will be to ensure that our groundbreaking technologies within GIS systems, converters and renewable energy components are installed in style.
When installing critical infrastructure components, 420kV GIS systems to stretch lines between masts, close collaboration with other professional groups and customer teams will be critical to ensure smooth installation of our scope of delivery in the projects. Good planning together with clear communication and interaction will be essential to be able to carry out projects with many parties involved. From quality checking documents before start-up in the field to handing over necessary documents and documents to subcontractors.
Areas of responsibility:
- Assist with technical clarifications that may arise during project implementation.
- Ensure good material flow between supplier and plant.
- Responsibility for the proper involvement of subcontractors.
- Follow-up and coordination of installation activities.
- Perform tasks within electrical safety.
- Follow-up and revision of progress plan. Ensure progress in the project.
- Review and follow basic design for the scope of delivery and handle interfaces with other suppliers.
- Reporting of the plant's status, progress and handling of deviations.
Plant types:
- 145kV - 420kV switchgear, both GIS and air-insulated.
- 24kV enclosed plant.
- 24, 145 and 420kV cable systems.
- Protection and control systems.
- Auxiliary facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or technical college with specialization in electrical power.
- Certificate as an electrician (L) or energy fitter (H).
- Experience from similar project work.
- Fluent in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
