Key Responsibilities – HR Administration, Policies & Employee Relations
- Act as a main point of contact for employees and managers for HR-related matters, providing guidance and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Deliver timely responses to HR enquiries in compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Handle core HR processes including onboarding, induction, changes in employment, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using HR information systems.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures to promote consistency across the company.
- Assist in facilitating positive employee relations and engagement initiatives.
People Processes & Talent Management
- Coordinate and support recruitment administration, including job postings, interview scheduling, and documentation.
- Assist with performance management cycles, including appraisals, probation reviews, and feedback collation.
- Help organise internal training sessions, learning, and development activities.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Compliance, Reporting & Best Practice in Human Resources
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation and updates affecting HR processes and contracts.
- Prepare required reports for management including metrics on absence, attrition, and employee engagement.
- Assist with audits, documentation checks, and statutory compliance processes.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience).
- 2–4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar people support role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and best practice HR processes.
- Solid experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism in all circumstances.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
