About the role:

We are growing rapidly, so we need more talented employees and are therefore looking for one new test engineer. The position can be defined as a senior test engineer if a candidate has the necessary skills and experience.

You will be part of a professionally strong group with several skilled test engineers, as well as with support from technical experts from various disciplines. You will work closely with our customers, who are mainly power and grid companies in Norway, but also other segments such as power supply to transport and power-intensive industry.

Our facilities are located throughout Norway and you will follow the project throughout the entire test period, as well as during the design of the station and internal tests in our test area.

After the project leaves the test area, the normal work week consists of being on site from Monday to Thursday, with periods of time off for long-term projects (based on a 4/3 rotation). Preparation for the actual on-site testing is done in the office.

In this role, you are central to our activities at the plant, as well as to our project engineers, project managers and factories. As a test engineer, you will have an important role in ensuring that the commissioning of our plants is carried out with high quality and with a focus on HSE that meets our standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage necessary HSE work and risks by using the guidelines and tools that our customers use.
• Plan and write test procedures.
• Setting, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of relay protection according to relay plans.
• Functional test and greening of circuit diagram.
• Commissioning and energizing of plant parts and components.

Qualifications & Skills Set:

• A professional certificate is a requirement, with a certificate (Grade L, H, A).
• Electrical engineer/technician.
• Experience from energy supply, the power industry or electrification of industrial facilities is desirable.
• You must be fluent in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
