Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Senior Data Governance Specialist / Data Steward to help strengthen their data landscape.

In this role, you’ll ensure that data across the organization is reliable, secure, compliant, and business-ready. You’ll be the bridge between IT and business teams—guiding how data is managed, accessed, and used.

➜ Safeguard quality → Keep data accurate, consistent, and reliable

➜ Define meaning → Manage metadata, data lineage, and business definitions

➜ Enable governance → Enforce policies, standards, and best practices

➜ Control access → Set and manage the right permissions for data usage

➜ Ensure compliance → Align data handling with regulations and policies

➜ Solve problems → Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve data issues

➜ Collaborate widely → Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and leadership

➜ Build literacy → Promote a culture of data understanding and usage

🎯 What You Bring

Must-have skills & experience
✔ Strong SQL knowledge
✔ Hands-on with Power BI
✔ Experience in ETL processes & datasets
✔ Knowledge of data warehouse modeling
✔ Proven ability in troubleshooting & root cause analysis (RCA)
✔ Fluency in English (written & spoken)
✔ Relevant University degree

Nice-to-have
