Active Directory Specialist

Why This Role?
We are seeking a driven "Active Directory Specialist" to work with the operation, development, and transformation of Microsoft AD. This is a hybrid role that offers the opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with strategic development.
About the Role:
You will join the client's AD on-prem team (ADDS) to strengthen their capabilities. The work is a combination of daily "operation and maintenance" and long-term "development and transformation" of the AD environment. The role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Stockholm.
*You will be expected to be in the Södertälje office, primarily on Tuesdays, with the option to work remotely on other days.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Maintenance: Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, including user accounts, groups, and permissions. This includes routine tasks like account creation, modification, and deletion.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity and security of the Active Directory environment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Active Directory, such as authentication problems, replication failures, and network connectivity issues.
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement new Active Directory solutions, including forest and domain migrations, upgrades, and integrations with other systems.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manage identity and access for users and applications, ensuring the principle of least privilege is applied.
- Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Hybrid Environments: Manage and support hybrid environments that integrate on-premise Active Directory with cloud services like Azure AD.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all Active Directory configurations, policies, and procedures.
Qualification Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft AD (on-prem) solutions.
- Ability to design, drive, and maintain technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and high performance.
- Good ability to balance business needs with technical setup.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Assignment & Employment:
- Start Date: September 8, 2025
- End Date: June 30, 2027
- Location: Stockholm (hybrid)
- Scope: 100%
- Payment: Hourly
