About the role:
Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Estimators to join a growing team. In this role, you will own the full-cycle electrical estimating process — from analyzing drawings and specifications to preparing accurate bids and managing projects through completion. You’ll partner with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and on budget.
This is a high-impact opportunity for estimators who thrive on precision, client interaction, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
What will you do:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and bid requirements to assemble detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and expenses.
- Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor lists, prepare RFQs, and secure competitive pricing.
- Draft comprehensive proposals, including specialty project requirements.
- Manage projects by overseeing both administrative and direct labor activities.
- Conduct cost analysis at project closeout to improve future estimating accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collect and analyze project costs, including raw materials, labor, and equipment.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks while capturing cost uncertainties in models.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management and estimating experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or tradecraft certification.
- Proven success estimating and managing industrial projects of $5M+.
- Experience with project management software.
- Proficiency in electrical estimating software (Accubid preferred).
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with scheduling software (preferred).
