Business Development – Key Responsibilities in Ergonomic Products Sales
- Identify, target, and win new B2B clients in sectors including corporate offices, education, healthcare, architect firms, interior designers, and industrial environments.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with procurement leaders, facilities managers, architects, and decision makers.
- Drive product presentations, site visits, and tailored demonstrations highlighting the benefits of ergonomic chairs, sit-stand desks, monitor arms, and workspace accessories.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver innovative, client-focused ergonomic solutions.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close sales, and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor emerging trends and developments in ergonomic workspaces to maintain strong product knowledge and advise clients strategically.
- Provide after-sales support and maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the account lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience for Ergonomic Workplace Product Sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, Ergonomics, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience in B2B business development, ideally within office furniture, workspace solutions, or ergonomic product sales preferred or candidates with B2B Sales and database from any product manufacturing company
- Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets in competitive markets.
- Advanced understanding of workplace health, safety, and ergonomic standards is highly desirable.
Essential Skills for Business Development in Ergonomic Solutions
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with a client-first, solution-oriented mindset.
- Confident in delivering presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually.
- Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Proficient with CRM tools, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
