Lead KDF’s Technical Support Services as Manager – Service & Maintenance and drive operational excellence, asset reliability, and team performance across engineering, maintenance, and compliance.

We are looking for a Manager – Service & Maintenance (Technical Support Services) on behalf of our client, Kuwait Drilling Fluid (KDF).
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a well-established oilfield services organization. The selected candidate will oversee key technical divisions; engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity, ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in driving KDF’s preventive maintenance strategy, modernization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the Technical Support Services strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma practices.
- Champion digital transformation and enterprise asset management platforms.
- Ensure systematic and compliant execution of engineering projects through strong governance.
- Provide expert leadership in design, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and optimization of new manufacturing units.
- Ensure technical compliance and high standards in all engineering projects.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Lead equipment upgrades and modernization projects.
- Standardize maintenance practices to enhance uptime and cost efficiency.
- Oversee asset integrity in accordance with API, ISO, ASME, and OSHA standards.
- Implement risk-based inspection and lifecycle management programs.
- Strengthen technical compliance, HSE assurance, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee project prioritization, budgeting, and performance reporting to executive management.
- Represent the function in board-level reviews and audits.
What We’re Looking For in You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity management.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within industrial or oilfield environments.
- Expertise in SAP EAM, Maximo, or similar asset management systems.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
- Strong understanding of international standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading digital and operational transformation initiatives.
