Patient Safety Officer - Registered Nurse (RN)
We’re looking for a dedicated RN Patient Safety officer, who’s ready to take the next step—combining clinical excellence with leadership in patient safety and quality improvement.

Why This Role?
For one of our client, we’re looking for RN, Patient Safety Officer in acute care hospital setting, specializing in RN, Adult Critical Care background with acute care hospital experience and prior or current role as a patient safety officer or work in components of patient safety as a RN
What will you do?
- Attend national safety goal monitoring committees.
- Sit on nursing committees such as falls and medication safety.
- Conduct chart reviews and needs to be good at root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with CDPH adverse patient event criteria for reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety programs.
- Establish procedures for reporting (Safety hazards, Accidents and incidents, Threats and significant events)
- Use patient outcome data to revise safety strategies.
- Drive continuous quality and performance improvement efforts.
Who you are
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- 2 years of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.
- 4 years of experience in clinical setting, health care administration, or a directly related field.
- 6 years of experience in quality, performance improvement
