Manager – Export Incentive & Licensing Management
Seeking an experienced Export Incentive & Licensing professional
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 10–15 years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA
Role Overview:
The position involves end-to-end management of export incentive schemes, regulatory compliance, and statutory obligations under Foreign Trade Policy. The role requires a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in DGFT, Customs, GST, and related export-import functions, ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and timely realization of benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Incentive Management
Manage the complete lifecycle of Advance Authorisations and EPCG Licenses — from application and monitoring to compliance and closure.
Oversee eBRC (electronic Bank Realisation Certificate) issuance and reconciliation with export proceeds.
Handle claims and reconciliations for Drawback and RoDTEP incentives.
Manage GST refund/rebate processes related to exports, ensuring accuracy and timely realization.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Offset obligations under relevant Foreign Trade Policies.
Coordinate with customs authorities for cancellation of duplicate Shipping Bills (SBs).
Submit periodic returns to government bodies such as FDI, DIPP/DIIP, etc.
Manage Industrial Entrepreneur Memorandum (IEM) and Industrial License obligations.
Renewal of Licenses & Memberships
Drive timely renewals of RCMC, IEC, Star Export House Certificate, AEO (T1/T2), and Scomet licenses.
Manage annual memberships with key industry associations (e.g., FKCCI, SIATI, BCIC, CII).
Awards & Recognition
Prepare and submit applications for Export Excellence Awards and other industry recognitions.
Technical & Professional Knowledge Required:
In-depth knowledge of DGFT, Customs, GST, and Export-Import regulations.
Proven experience in managing Foreign Trade Policy compliance and documentation.
Hands-on exposure to SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Strong coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Effective liaisoning with government authorities and industry bodies.
