Assignment Description
We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead the full payroll vendor RFP process, including requirement gathering, evaluation, and coordination with HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement. The role requires strong experience in payroll RFPs, solid knowledge of Nordic payroll standards, and familiarity with integrations such as Oracle HCM, Service Now, payroll systems, and shift planning tools. Fluency in English is required; Norwegian is an advantage.
Who You Are
- Experienced payroll professional with a strong track record in managing end-to-end payroll vendor RFP processes.
- Deep knowledge of Nordic payroll vendors, practices, and legal requirements.
- Strong understanding of payroll integration landscapes, including Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, payroll systems, and shift planning tools.
- Analytical and objective, able to evaluate vendor proposals and provide clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll vendor RFP process.
- Gather, document, and validate functional and technical payroll requirements.
- Review existing payroll documentation, contracts, and system configurations.
- Benchmark processes against Nordic standards and interpret union agreement obligations.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, conduct reference checks, and provide objective recommendations.
- Facilitate collaboration between HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Organize and lead vendor workshops, presentations, and Q&A sessions.
