Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of industrial projects under the PMC (Project Management Consultancy) model. The role involves coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, within budget, on time, and as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead complete project lifecycle — concept to commissioning.
Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor project milestones, risks, and critical paths.
Ensure adherence to PMC processes, standards, and governance.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact between client, consultants, and contractors.
Conduct review meetings and present project status to management and clients.
Resolve site issues, technical queries, and interface challenges.
Contracts, Cost & Commercials
Support tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor finalization.
Verify BOQs, rate analyses, variation claims, and billing certifications.
Control project costs, cash flows, and budget deviations.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with design, codes, statutory norms, and QA/QC procedures.
Drive EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards across sites.
Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-ups.
Technical & Site Supervision
Review drawings, GFCs, and shop drawings with consultants.
Monitor civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and utility works.
Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.
Risk & Reporting
Identify risks and mitigation plans proactively.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and progress documentation.
Support claim management and dispute resolution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
BE/B. Tech - Civil
15+ years of experience, with strong exposure to PMC & industrial projects, MEP, Pre Engg Bldg.
· 4–6 years of experience in industrial projects
Proven experience handling multiple sites / large-value projects.
Strong knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience working with EPC / consultants / contractors environments.
Experience working with or currently working for MNCs
Strong knowledge of corporate behaviour
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Experience
Industrial plants, factories, warehouses, utilities, process units, etc.
Exposure to greenfield / brownfield projects.
Knowledge of ISO, safety standards, and statutory approvals.
