Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support for end-user computing and collaboration technologies across multiple locations in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and experienced in supporting a wide range of IT hardware and devices in a professional enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and deskside technical support for:
Windows desktops and laptops
Tablets (Windows, Apple iOS, Android)
Smartphones (iOS & Android)
Desk phones and unified communication devices
Network and local printers
Video conferencing room equipment (audio and video systems)
Perform hardware troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, replacement, and upgrades.
Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and peripherals.
Support Windows OS, basic application issues, and device connectivity.
Handle ticket management through an ITSM tool, ensuring SLA compliance.
Provide user guidance and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with centralized IT teams and vendors for escalations.
Travel between Venlo and OSS locations as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or Desktop Support Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows end-user devices.
Experience with printers, mobile devices, and conferencing room technology.
Familiarity with troubleshooting iOS, Android, and Windows tablets and phones.
Good understanding of network connectivity and basic hardware diagnostics.
Valid driving license (mandatory).
Fluent in English and Dutch (Dutch at C1 level required).
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
