Interior Designers Sales
Role Objective:
To engage with walk-in customers, understand their interior design needs (mainly modular kitchens & wardrobes), and provide design solutions while ensuring high-quality customer experience and conversion to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Sales
Attend to all walk-in customers at the showroom and understand their space and design requirements.
Provide design-based consultation tailored to customer preferences and budget.
Pitch appropriate modular kitchen and wardrobe solutions.
Convert enquiries into confirmed orders by explaining product features, finishes, and benefits.
Follow up with leads via calls/messages and maintain consistent communication until closure.
Design & Product Knowledge
Prepare basic design layouts, 2D drawings, and product configurations using design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or in-house software).
Assist customers in selecting materials, finishes, colors, and accessories.
Stay updated with product catalogues, price lists, and new arrivals.
Operational Support
Coordinate with in-house designers or factory teams for order confirmations and delivery timelines.
Maintain updated records of enquiries, quotations, and conversions in CRM or Excel.
Support store merchandising and ensure a presentable, well-maintained showroom experience.
Customer Experience & After-Sales
Ensure a pleasant and professional experience for every visitor.
Handle basic customer concerns and pass on service requests to the appropriate team.
Maintain customer relationship even after the sale for future referrals or projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (Preferred)
4–7 years of experience in retail interior sales, preferably in modular kitchens or home interiors
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SketchUp / 3D design tools
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand customer taste and translate it into functional design
Fluency in English and local language is desirable
Work Conditions:
6-day work week (including weekends & public holidays; one weekday off)
On-site showroom-based role
May require occasional home/site visits for measurements or consultations
Compensation:
Fixed salary + Incentives/Commissions based on conversions
