Role Overview
We are hiring a Siemens Teamcenter Developer for one of our clients in Västerås. In this hands-on role, you will develop, customize, and maintain solutions in the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment. You will work with configuration, server-side programming, integrations, and best practices to support engineering and product lifecycle management processes.
What You’ll Do
Develop and customize Teamcenter solutions using both configuration and custom code/scripts.
Perform ITK server-side programming in C/C++, Java for dispatcher clients, and XML for stylesheet definitions.
Utilize tools such as BMIDE, Workflow Designer, and Query Builder for continuous development.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing code based on user or team reports.
Support the development team with technical expertise in programming.
Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter development best practices.
Integrate Teamcenter solutions with third-party applications such as SAP4Hana, NX, and ECAD tools.
Configure and customize Active Workspace and Teamcenter architecture/data model.
Install and configure 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management servers, dispatcher servers, and CAD integrations.
Who You Are
Must-Have Requirements
3–5 years of relevant experience + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or another IT degree with 15+ years experience)
Strong proficiency in at least one of: C/C++, C#, Java, or XML/XSLT
Solid experience with Siemens Teamcenter (ITK, Dispatcher framework, APIs, SOA)
Experience with Active Workspace configuration and customization
Understanding of Teamcenter UA modules (Engineering Data Management, BOM, Workflow, Change Management)
Experience with Git (Azure DevOps) for code management
Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Nice to Have
Experience with Product Configurator, Multi-BOM, Service BOM, or Supplier Collaboration
Knowledge of transitioning from RAC to Active Workspace (AWC)
Strong written and verbal skills in Swedish (meritorious)
