About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager with experience in SAP service sales to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IT consulting/service sales, especially across SAP solutions, and should be comfortable handling global clients and end-to-end sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
• Identify and acquire new clients across mid-market, enterprise, and global markets.
• Drive sales for IT consulting and digital transformation services.
• Manage the complete sales lifecycle including lead generation, client discovery and qualification, proposal creation, pricing and negotiation, and deal closure.
Pipeline & Account Management
• Build and maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to design suitable client solutions.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery teams.
Client & Market Engagement
• Build strong relationships with CXOs and decision-makers.
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and virtual meetings.
• Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market positioning.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in IT service sales for India and US markets.
• Proven experience in SAP service selling.
• Strong understanding of solution-based selling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in pricing, proposal writing, and deal closure.
• Ability to articulate business value, ROI, and customer outcomes.
• Strong ownership mindset with high energy and resilience.
• Comfortable working closely with leadership and founders.
Preferred Background
Candidates with prior experience in selling IT consulting services related to Cloud, AI/GenAI, Data Engineering, Digital Engineering, or Managed Services will be preferred
