Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Head to lead Talent Acquisition and HR Operations for our organisation based in Coimbatore. The role requires a recruitment-focused HR professional with strong expertise in engineering and technical hiring through both lateral and campus recruitment initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong corporate HR experience with exposure to manpower planning, recruitment strategy, HR operations, employee engagement, and process-driven HR practices in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and engineering positions.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for lateral and campus hiring.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for engineering and manufacturing functions.
Coordinate campus recruitment drives with engineering colleges, institutes, and placement cells.
Partner with business leaders for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiations, and onboarding processes.
Ensure timely closure of positions with quality talent acquisition.
Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top engineering talent.
Manage recruitment consultants, vendors, and hiring partners.
Track recruitment metrics including TAT, hiring costs, and joining ratios.
HR Operations & Generalist Functions
Oversee HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and HR policies.
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Support performance management and appraisal processes.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company HR policies.
Handle employee relations and grievance management.
Coordinate training and development initiatives.
Maintain HRMIS and HR documentation systems.
Lead HR process improvements and organizational development initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong experience in engineering and technical recruitment.
Proven expertise in campus hiring and bulk recruitment.
Sound knowledge of HR operations and talent acquisition strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
Strong networking skills with engineering institutes and talent communities.
Industry Preference: Engineering / Manufacturing / Renewable Energy
Qualification: Graduate with MBA in HR
Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience
