Factory Electrician

Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure smooth and safe operation of the production and facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting works for machines and equipment – Injection, Blowing machines.
· Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedule.
· Install and maintain wiring, lighting systems, DB panels, switches, and electrical components.
· Diagnose electrical faults and take corrective action promptly.
· Ensure all electrical works comply with safety requirements and company procedures.
· Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to superior.
· Support machine breakdown activities and minimize downtime.
· Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
· Maintain proper records for maintenance and repair activities.
· Ensure good housekeeping at work area.
· Assist in improvement projects and machine modification when required.
· Follow all safety regulations and use proper PPE during work.
Requirements
· Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
· Possess wireman license (PW2 / PW4) is an added advantage.
· Minimum 2–3 years working experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
· Knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, motor control, inverter, and PLC basic understanding.
· Able to work independently and under minimum supervision.
· Willing to work overtime, shifts, or during emergency breakdown.
· Good teamwork and communication skills.
· Physically fit and able to work in production environment.
Working Conditions
· Manufacturing / factory environment.
· Exposure to machinery noise, heat, and electrical systems.
· May require standby support during breakdown or emergency cases.
