Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager / Epic Owner to lead complex engineering projects and Agile delivery initiatives within a SAFe environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing medium to large-scale projects and Epics, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timeline requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders while driving Agile transformation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, SAFe frameworks, Scrum leadership, and engineering product development environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects and Epics from initiation to successful delivery
Define project execution strategies, plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
Drive project execution while ensuring alignment with quality, safety, financial, and delivery objectives
Lead cross-functional Agile teams operating within a SAFe framework
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, and stakeholder communication
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
Support Agile transformation initiatives and organizational change management activities
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and project resources
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Agile best practices
Support recovery planning and resolution of challenged or delayed projects
Ensure compliance with company policies, governance models, and project management standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field, or 10–15 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 6 years of project management experience managing complex projects
Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies
PMP® or IPMA Level B/C certification
Certified SAFe Agilist
Certified Scrum Master
SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification
Prosci Change Manager certification
Agile Coaching and Change Management experience
DevOps experience
Experience managing engineering or product development projects including Hardware, Software, FPGA, and Mechanical development
Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written — Mandatory
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
