Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Scrum Master
Lead secure software delivery by combining hands-on DevSecOps engineering with Scrum leadership in a modern cloud and application security environment.
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office)

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients and are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with Scrum Master experience to join an Application Security Platform team. This role combines hands-on DevSecOps engineering with agile leadership. You will help build secure internal platforms, automate security processes, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, and integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, improve team collaboration, and support agile delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong DevSecOps background who enjoys enabling teams and has an interest in growing toward Product Ownership or technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
DevSecOps & Platform Engineering
Design and develop security automation, internal tools, and reusable templates.
Improve and secure CI/CD pipelines.
Implement DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, secrets management, container security, and vulnerability management.
Integrate security controls into development workflows.
Support cloud security and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams.
Create technical documentation and implementation guides.
Continuously improve the organization's AppSec platform.
Agile & Scrum
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
Support PI Planning activities.
Remove delivery blockers.
Coach teams on Agile and Scrum practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership.
Foster a collaborative and transparent team culture.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Application Security.
2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Facilitator.
Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
Good understanding of SDLC and Secure SDLC.
Knowledge of OWASP, SAST, DAST, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Mural, or similar Agile tools.
