Assignment Description
Are you passionate about developing advanced control system software for cutting-edge subsea technologies? This role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading subsea compression and boosting systems, swivel stacks, and other automated solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable control systems.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining control system software while supporting the full project lifecycle, from development through testing, delivery, and aftermarket activities.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and test control system software for subsea systems
• Perform modifications and upgrades to delivered control systems through aftermarket activities
• Participate in component, functional, system, and interface testing
• Work closely with suppliers during testing activities at supplier locations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across all project phases
• Support implementation and handover of control system software for subsea products and systems
Requirements
• BSc or MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, Computer Science/IT, or a related engineering field
• 4–8 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with PLC-based control systems is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Positive, practical, and solution-oriented mindset with high drive and strong delivery capacity
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with Rockwell Automation products (e.g. Allen-Bradley PLCs or FactoryTalk View HMI software) is an advantage
• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization or VMware solutions is an advantage
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server is an advantage
• Knowledge of HTML5 and modern visualization/presentation tools is an advantage
• Experience using AI tools to support development and improve workflows is an advantage
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance methods is an advantage
• Experience and knowledge of IT/networking for industrial computing and cyber security is an advantage
