Assignment Description
Responsible for assigned process engineering deliverables, including development and quality checking of process and utility system designs. The role involves evaluation and dimensioning of process equipment, preparation of process documentation, and participation in HAZOP, process design reviews and other relevant safety reviews.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and quality check process and utility system designs
• Evaluate and dimension process equipment, including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps and separators
• Develop and quality check P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, process datasheets, line sizing and line lists
• Prepare calculations, calculation reports and process/system documentation
• Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP and process design reviews
• Evaluate process simulations when required
• Ensure quality and compliance of assigned process engineering deliverables
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering or a relevant field
• Experience with process engineering, preferably from detailed design projects
• Experience from offshore modification projects, preferably in the North Sea, is beneficial
• Detailed knowledge of NORSOK P-002
• Knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and API/ISO/ASME standards
• Knowledge of S-001 and Z-001 is beneficial
• Good knowledge of TIME
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-driven, structured and detail-oriented approach
• Norwegian and English
• Must work from the office in Stavanger – home office or split location is not accepted
Experience Level
• The client is looking for someone with basic process engineering competence
• Experience from detailed design projects is preferred
• Offshore modification experience is an advantage
