Lead strategic production transformation projects, driving factory layout improvements, capacity expansion, and investment initiatives in a growing industrial environment.
Location: Ludvika, Sweden (On-site at least 3 days per week)

About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Production Layout & Investment Projects to support manufacturing development initiatives.
In this role, you will lead strategic production improvement projects focusing on production layout changes, capacity expansion, new equipment investments, and optimization of manufacturing flows.
You will work closely with production, engineering, maintenance, HSE, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution according to timeline, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
We are looking for a hands-on project leader who can drive complex industrial projects forward and create results in a cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production layout change projects from planning through implementation
Manage investment projects related to production equipment and infrastructure
Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and external partners throughout project phases
Ensure project delivery according to agreed timelines, budget, quality, and safety targets
Optimize production flows, material handling, and manufacturing processes
Identify and manage project risks and ensure continuous progress tracking
Support operational teams during implementation and transition to new ways of working
Prepare project status updates, cost follow-ups, and reports for stakeholders and management
Drive improvements that increase production capacity, efficiency, and operational performance
Requirements
Several years of experience in project management within industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments
Documented experience managing investment projects, production development projects, or major layout changes
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external suppliers
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Structured, solution-oriented, and result-driven mindset
Hands-on approach and ability to participate actively in daily project activities
Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Ability to work on-site in Ludvika at least 3 days per week
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
