Lead manufacturing finance and costing in Sendayan, using SAP Business One to turn accurate insights into stronger decisions alongside a collaborative team.
Cost & Finance Accountant
Location: Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
Manage full set of accounts, monthly closing, financial statements, and management reports.
Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
Prepare and analyse product costing, standard vs. actual costs, manufacturing variances, and gross profit margins.
Monitor inventory valuation, stock counts, production wastage, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing costs.
Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, financial controls, and accounting processes.
Utilise SAP Business One to monitor financial, inventory, production, and costing transactions.
Handle tax compliance, SST, e-Invoice, and statutory reporting requirements.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities.
Supervise the Finance/Accounts team and work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales departments.
Prepare periodic financial, costing, inventory, and KPI reports for management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong costing knowledge.
Experience using SAP Business One, particularly Finance and Costing modules; MM knowledge is an advantage.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CMA are an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Working Conditions
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Willingness to travel to the Kuala Lumpur Head Office when required.
